Jason and I were off to NC October 20-22 with my Mother tp visit my brother and his wife Melissa. We got a lot in for such a short stay and had a great time. I was very impressed with the Duke Campus, the Duke Gardens and the Church on the grounds. We had plans to squeeze in the NC fair while we were there as well but the weather did not hold up on Sunday. Ah well, NEXT TIME! :-)

What a bunch of hams! Here is my mother the criminal being "frisked" at a/p. No kidding, she was stopped every time! Hahahaha! Robbie and Jason gave their best attempt to disguise themselves and I try to blend in with the bushes playing "How not to be seen"!

Weekend of October 13th! Went hiking to the top of Joe's rock in Wrentham with Maggie, Jason and the kids. Weather was perfect, view was spectacular!

This was simply too cute.....

October 7, 2006 http://www.boxerbuddies.org/ Jason and I attended a benefit/bike run that was called "bikers for boxers" at the Outlaw BBQ in Foxboro. We enjoyed a really good blues band, met some very interesting people and all for a great cause! I was even talked into being the only girl on a bike challenge. Not sure how I got talked into that. I can barely get a car on the rails of a car wash, let alone get my bike on a single rail to see how far I can go!!Yes, I was pretty intimidated by all the screaming and jokes, I did not win, but I sure had fun! heheheh!! I will post pictures later, for some reason I can't upload pictures since I switched to the beta version of blogger and I am awaiting a response.

September 15, 16 & 17 2006 in Nantucket! Jason and I met up with Mary, Heather, Kara, Mike in addition to the "dog pack"( Maggie, Emily, Harley & Dee "The Police Dog") First day was great, we ran on the beach, went out for dinner etc. Sadly, I dropped my camera the first day in the salt water and did not notice till quite a while later after it had been covered over by salt water. No funeral was had....the camera would have wantd it that way. :-( Day 2, Jason came in on the Ferry, but so did the rain!

Labor Day Weekend 2006. After a couple days of clouds and rain, George,Vika Jason and I have chartered a deep sea fishing boat and escaped to the Cape!

The fun is about to begin! Everyone is on board, great views, great location ( West Dennis on the Cape) and great friends make for a GREAT DAY! Whooo-hooooo!

Seemed like we were being tossed around like rag dolls on the boat but looks like it was all smooth sailing looking back at the pictures! Hahaha...but of course, who would have been holding the camera when the waters were rough. We were holding to the boat for those moments! Jason and George caught many blue fish. George caught the first striped bass. What time is dinner????

An amazing sunset and an incredible view of seals on the shoreline capped the day off nicely!!

I wonder who has been getting the most out of having a pool this season?
